Aviation Academy Austria (AAA) has successfully certified its CJ1+ full flight simulator. The EASA Level D simulator is based at AAA's training facilities next to Vienna International airport.
“Modernising our Citation C525 training with this device will provide our customers the highest level of training,” comments COO Michael Holy. “We already have 10 years' experience in type training for the entire C525 family. With this investment we will continue our path of personalised, reliable training that caters to the demand of the business aviation industry for premium and flexible solutions with the best value for money.
“Our team of instructors now have the perfect tool to provide type training on the most advanced technology. Dry lease customers will have an easy-to-use instructor station and a variety of training scenarios, several special airports, realistically designed malfunctions and an enhanced ground and flight model.”
The simulator was manufactured by Axis Flight Training Systems and is equipped with the RSI XT5 visual system, offering an extensive database of airports that meet the specific training needs of business jet operators in the region. The latest motion base model of Bosch/Rexroth eMotion-14000 ensures precise acceleration, soft transitions and minimum noise.
